I’m currently listening to A Dowry of Blood by S.T. Gibson. I’m twenty-five minutes into the audiobook. The pros are very beautiful so far.
As for my WIP, the second draft of Breakfast is at 6k words.
I’m still looking for Comp titles for breakfast. I think I’m comparable to two different authors writing styles and what they generally write about. Drava Green and C.M. Nascosta. Drava Green in the fact I write queer non-human characters and C.M. Nascosta with the world she has created. It’s still all monster romance.
But I would love book recommendations. It can be your own book.
Vibes: Madden (they/them) is a non-binary revenant and Bastion (he/him is a bisexual dragonborn. This couple has unrequited love then turned to second Chance romance. Bastion is Madden’s boss. They knew Bastion back in high school. Caelan (he/him) is a revenant and gender non-conforming. I.e. wearing more feminine or flamboyant clothes, flowers, tie-dye, and hippie stoner aesthetic. Skylar (she/her) is a pansexual human. Crush at first sight, he falls first, hookup but I don’t stop seeing you. This has urban fantasy and contemporary fantasy vibes.
